Capacity level measurement and detection
|
|
|
- Continuous measurement or level detection on conductive or insulating products: liquids, granulates, and powders
- Rigid or cable electrodes
- Double Electrode for a non-conducting container
- High temperature extension
Presentation
A measurement or capacity detection channel is made up of :
- A sensor head: Polycarbonate box IP 65,
- A connection fitting (G1 1/2 as standard),
- A rigid or cabled electrode in contact with the product,
- The electronics are fitted in the sensor head or remotely in a leak-tight box with a coaxial cable link.
How it works
The sensor, the tank and the product being measured form a condensor whose capacity depends on how full it is, so variations in the height of the product lead to variations in capacity. This capacity variation is converted into an on/off signal and an analogue signal for continuous level measurement.
